Nuh'sArk Preschool

Nuh’s Ark is a play-based preschool program in San Ramon, California, serving Muslim children and their families. Inspired by Prophet Nuh and the idea of a safe haven, the program aims to nurture children’s natural curiosity and spiritual development while offering a setting grounded in Islamic values, etiquette, and lessons. Its approach emphasizes kindness, good character, and a meaningful connection with Allah.

More than a childcare service, Nuh’s Ark seeks to build a close-knit community in which children and teachers learn, eat, clean, and explore together. The program is designed for families who value nurturing their children’s hearts, limiting exposure to media, and giving children opportunities for hands-on play, including getting dirty. Its website highlights the daily rhythm, end-of-year goals, program features, and forms for families.

Nuh’s Ark was founded by Kiran Adnan, an experienced preschool teacher and parent. Her background includes teaching at ILM Tree Preschool in Lafayette and other home-based preschool programs, as well as Early Childhood Education studies at Diablo Valley College.
