As the first dedicated funding for feminist tech in the Global South, Numun Fund aims to support feminist groups, organizations, and networks led by women, non-binary, and trans people who use technology to advance feminist organizing and gender-just outcomes. Through their Seed, Grow, and Sustain grants, Numun Fund supports eligible feminist groups and organizations working on information technology, digital security, data activism, digitally-networked organizing, and skills sharing.

They also aim to build feminist resilience by challenging surveillance and unjust regulation, offering support to strengthen skills and capacities, and creating tools for safety, activism, resource distribution, and movement building. Numun Fund fosters feminist tech creativity and innovation by bringing together stakeholders engaged in social justice, feminism, digital rights, and technology activism. They collaborate to imagine and develop alternative feminist frameworks and technology responses to address issues such as technology access, design, and development disparities and discrimination.
