About Nuorisokoti Avalon
Nuorisokoti Avalon is a specialized youth home located in the scenic manor environment of Siuntio, Western Uusimaa. This 14-bed, bilingual facility is primarily focused on providing support for young individuals struggling with substance abuse and everyday life management challenges. As part of our services, we also offer a basic education center for the youth.
Avalon accepts young individuals aged 13 to 17, either as part of support measures for outpatient care, as emergency placements, or in cases of child protection. Our availability can be checked through SocFinder and Lasteri services. Our approach at Avalon is built on respecting and valuing the youth, and we work towards individual goals through long-term engagement and involvement.
Through a safe, adult-led, and highly structured environment, we aim to halt substance abuse and enhance life management skills. Our ultimate goal is for the youth to achieve a substance-free life that includes age-appropriate activities such as school attendance and hobbies.
