Nuovo Ponte

Il Nuovo Ponte is a social cooperative established in Vicenza in 1984. It works across several locations in the province, supporting people with physical and intellectual disabilities and others who are not self-sufficient or experiencing social hardship. Its mission is to foster social inclusion through individualized “life projects” that respond to each person’s needs and abilities.

The cooperative provides semi-residential, day services offering educational, rehabilitative, and care support at four locations in the Vicenza area. Its residential services include supported accommodation through community homes and apartment groups. It also develops activities that offer relief to families while creating opportunities for social participation and the growth of personal independence, including during leisure time. The cooperative’s handmade items highlight the creativity and relationships involved in making them. Il Nuovo Ponte invites people to contribute as volunteers or through financial donations, including Italy’s 5×1000 tax allocation. Its services are authorized and accredited by the Veneto Region and operate under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
