Nurme is a small, modern craft beer brewery located in the heart of Riga, Latvia. Since 2016, we have been offering some of the most exciting, unusual, and enjoyable flavors in the Baltic craft beer market. Our brewery was opened with the support of 627 individuals through a successful crowdfunding campaign.

We take pride in handcrafting our beers using only the highest quality ingredients, with a preference for local Northern natural resources whenever possible. While we respect beer history and traditions, we also embrace modern eclecticism, using our skills and passion for experimentation to create new and surprising combinations that showcase the true diversity of beer. Our range includes refreshing pilsners, fruity pale ales and IPAs, refreshing summer sour beers, and creamy chocolatey porters and stouts.

In addition to our beers, we offer brewery tours with tasting sessions for both large and small groups. Visit our taproom and terrace, located next to the brewery, to enjoy our beers on draught, as well as ciders and non-alcoholic drinks. We also host concerts and events, creating a cozy atmosphere with a fireplace.

During the summer season, our spacious outdoor terrace with a roof is open so you can relax and enjoy our beers rain or shine. Nurme brewery is part of a vibrant cultural hub in the historic industrial quarter on Vagonu Street. Alongside our brewery, taproom, and terrace, you'll find the Vagonu Hall, a venue for concerts and events, as well as two bars - 1983 and Laska21, the In Bloom flower artists, and various other creative neighbors.

If you're looking for a cozy bar experience, visit our Avotu Street bar, where we serve Nurme and other small brewery beers and ciders, as well as stronger and non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, our neighbor, Boar BBQ, is famous for their delicious burgers, ribs, and chicken wings, which pair perfectly with a glass of our beer. On our birthday in late April, we celebrate with the Nurme Springs craft beer festival, where we showcase the beer and ethos of local and international independent breweries that resonate with us.
