Nurmijärven Uinti

Nurmijärven Uinti ry is a swimming club offering competitive and recreational swimming opportunities for people of different ages in Nurmijärvi, with activities at Rajamäki Swimming Hall. Its programs range from water familiarization to technique development and structured competition training for children, young people, and adults.

For children aged 6–10, Vesiralli courses progress through four stages, introducing water and swimming in varied ways. Technique groups and courses help children aged 7–12 and adults develop their swimming skills, and individual coaching is also available. Recreational options include a youth group and an adult Harrastemasters group, which train two to three times a week while balancing purposeful practice with enjoyment. The club also provides competitive swimming groups for children and young people, as well as an adult masters group.

Nurmijärven Uinti offers swimming instruction described as professional and aligned with Finnish Swimming Federation guidance. It also encourages young participants to expand their involvement by becoming instructors and provides opportunities connected with other forms of aquatic exercise.
