Ytmp3 is a browser-based service for searching YouTube videos and converting supported links into downloadable audio or video files. Users can search by song title, artist, or keyword, or paste a YouTube video address directly. Search results and trending suggestions help users compare recordings and select the version they want before visiting the converter. Available format options can vary by source, with MP3 for audio and MP4 where offered.

The service is designed for straightforward use on desktop and mobile browsers, with compact controls and light and dark appearance options. It does not require a separate desktop converter, and clipboard access is requested only when users choose that control. Ytmp3 also provides guidance on finding downloads, choosing audio quality, troubleshooting conversion issues, and using online tools safely. Its blog covers MP3 formats, bitrate selection, processing problems, and responsible downloading. Ytmp3 emphasizes that users should save only content they own, have permission to download, or are otherwise authorized to keep; public availability alone does not grant copying rights.
