Nurture Montessori

Nurture Montessori is an early childhood education provider in Lake Stevens, Washington, serving children ages 2½ to 6. Established in 2021 as the area’s first Montessori environment, the school offers a warm, thoughtfully prepared setting where children are respected, valued, and encouraged to explore. Its founder, Kokila Govindasamy, is an AMI-certified Montessori professional with more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education.

The school’s Montessori approach supports the development of the whole child through hands-on learning materials, purposeful activities, and opportunities to make choices and learn by doing. Its educational focus includes independence and confidence, concentration and problem-solving, curiosity, social and emotional growth, fine and gross motor development, practical life skills, and self-discipline. Guidance is shaped around each child’s individual development and interests, with the aim of fostering capable, compassionate, lifelong learners and preparing children for life as well as school. Nurture Montessori invites families to partner in their child’s learning journey and provides information about its programs and educational approach through its website.
