OR Nuthatch Garden Design

Nuthatch Garden Design is a woman-owned landscape design business based in Beaverton, Oregon, specializing in native, edible, and drought-tolerant gardens. Its work helps homeowners transform residential yards into thriving outdoor spaces that support people, pollinators, birds, and the wider environment. Designs emphasize native and pollinator-friendly plants, water-wise choices, year-round beauty, and meaningful connections with nature.

Services begin with garden consultations, where clients and the designer review an outdoor space, discuss goals, and identify opportunities. Garden coaching is also available to existing clients. For larger projects, Nuthatch provides landscape designs for part or all of a yard, developed through on-site measurements and collaboration. Clients receive a color, digitally hand-drawn plan, a detailed plant list, photographs, and plant-care instructions.

The business also supports project installation, whether clients do the work themselves or hire a contractor. Ongoing garden stewardship can include follow-up coaching and fine pruning to help landscapes mature thoughtfully and sustainably.
