NVC Nijeveen is a friendly, community-focused volleyball club serving Nijeveen and the surrounding Meppel area in the Netherlands. Founded on 25 June 1963, the club brings together players with different interests and levels of experience, offering a place for youth, adult and recreational participants. Its teams compete in both the Nevobo league and the local Stadscompetitie, while a recreational team provides another way to enjoy the sport.
The club also has men’s teams, including Heren 1, which secured promotion to the Nevobo first division after finishing first in its competition in March 2026. NVC shares club news, team information, photographs and practical details for members and prospective players through its website. Visitors can find information about the board, house rules, membership contributions, and how to join or leave the club.
NVC Nijeveen is based at Sporthal De Eendracht, Nieuweweg 5, in Nijeveen, and welcomes people looking for a local setting in which to play volleyball and be part of a club community
