Danmarks Jægerforbund

NordVestHimmerlands Jagtforening is a regional hunting association serving the NordVestHimmerland area of Denmark. Established on 1 January 2011, it was formed through the merger of associations from Farsø, Flejsborg, Løgstør, Overlade, Strandby and Vester Hornum. The association supports members and others interested in hunting through activities that include clay-pigeon shooting, rifle shooting, hunting and dog training.

It operates the Flejsborg shooting centre at Gattenvej 29 in Farsø and a rifle range in Engelstrup, at Bakkelyvej 25 near Løgstør. The Flejsborg facility is listed as open on Thursdays from 3 p.m. The Engelstrup range is listed as open Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., but is closed during July and from October until early April. The association also shares information about courses, events and seasonal shooting opportunities through its public NVHjagt Facebook group. Visitors can find further details about activities and dates in the association’s calendar, while prospective members can access information about joining and its governing rules on the website.
