NVJJL

The Nederlandse Vereniging van Jiu-Jitsu en Judo Leerkrachten (NVJJL) is an association that represents the interests of its affiliated jiu-jitsu and judo teachers. It supports instructors in continuing to develop their knowledge and teaching practice through professional development, workshops, and training sessions focused on budo sports. These sessions introduce participants to current developments and give them the opportunity to practise techniques directly on the mat.

The NVJJL’s programme includes activities for judo and jiu-jitsu instructors, with topics ranging from combinations and movement to kata, groundwork, and teaching from the fundamentals. Events take place at venues including Theo Meyer Sport in Leusden, and the association also shares news, reports, and information about upcoming agenda items. Its workshops bring teachers and youth judo leaders together to learn, exchange ideas, and explore approaches to creating positive and safe learning environments. Through its activities, the NVJJL offers affiliated teachers opportunities to refresh their skills, deepen their understanding of martial arts, and remain engaged with developments in their disciplines.
