NVOPS

Northern Victoria Orthotic & Prosthetic Service (NVOPS) is a Shepparton-based practice providing orthotic and prosthetic clinical and technical services to residents of Northern Victoria and Southern New South Wales. Established in 1999, the service is guided by the values “personalised, specialised, customised,” which shape its care for clients, families, colleagues and referrers.

NVOPS provides assessment, advice and custom-made orthoses and prostheses, with fabrication carried out on site in Shepparton using materials and components sourced internationally. Its team selects clinically appropriate technology to suit each person’s circumstances and aims for high-quality service and positive outcomes. The practice’s broad experience includes orthotic care for acute and chronic conditions, serving people from paediatric to older age groups. Conditions mentioned include fractures, polio, stroke, cerebral palsy and amputation.

The team includes clinical, technical and administrative staff and works with referrers to support client outcomes. Consultations are required to assess and prescribe orthoses. NVOPS offers appointments, including a dedicated booking option for existing paediatric clients requiring long-term orthotic care.
