NVP

The Dutch Network for HR-Professionals (NVP) is a professional association serving human resource practitioners in the Netherlands. Founded in 1965, it connects around 2,500 members working on issues including HR strategy, employment relations, recruitment, rewards, working conditions and staff development. NVP promotes professional values and standards, contributes to discussions on social legislation, develops codes of conduct and supports better industrial relations.

The association brings members together through eight interest sections and nine regional branches. Together, they organise meetings on current workplace and HR topics, while NVP’s national office also offers refresher sessions and workshops. Its weekly digital newsletter shares information about events, courses and job opportunities. Employers can advertise HR vacancies through the NVP website, reaching its professional membership.

NVP also has an international outlook, arranging meetings with European partner organisations and participating in the European Association for People Management. Through its network, learning opportunities and professional activities, NVP helps HR practitioners exchange knowledge and stay informed about developments affecting their work.
