About NWA Tobacco & Drug Free Coalition
Northwest Arkansas Tobacco-Free Coalition, also known as NWATDFC, is dedicated to reducing the impact of tobacco on Arkansas. Our coalition works alongside community partners to improve the quality of life for Arkansans by addressing the health and economic repercussions of alcohol, tobacco, and drug use. We focus on education, prevention, cessation, and public policy initiatives to create a healthier environment.
With a mission to empower individuals to make informed decisions, we strive to combat the alarming statistics of alcohol abuse and prescription drug misuse. Through our programs, we aim to prevent youth initiation to harmful substances, eliminate secondhand smoke exposure, and reduce health disparities. Join us in creating a tobacco-free community by supporting our efforts to promote health and well-being for all residents of Northwest Arkansas.
NWATDFC is supported by the Arkansas Department of Health and follows CDC guidelines for comprehensive tobacco control programs
