NWNJ Aviation

NWNJ Aviation is an aircraft maintenance and avionics business based at Sussex Airport (FWN) in Sussex, New Jersey. Opened in June 2024, the company serves general aviation, light-sport and ultralight aircraft owners, offering maintenance and repair, inspections, avionics installation and upgrades. Its goal is to return aircraft to service promptly, with work generally scheduled for the same day or within a week. For aircraft that cannot be moved, NWNJ Aviation can travel a reasonable distance or arrange to have the aircraft ferried to its location. The business also purchases abandoned or unwanted aircraft, experimental projects and ultralights.

Owner Ryan brings more than 30 years of aviation experience. He holds an A&P certificate, a commercial pilot certificate with single- and multi-engine land and instrument privileges, and a Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument certificate. An active pilot and aircraft owner, Ryan participates in Pilots ’n Paws and Patient Airlift Services (PALS Hope) and is building an experimental aircraft.
