About New Woman Foundation
New Woman Foundation is a defensive feminist organization that supports women's rights in Egypt. Their mission is to contribute to the development of public policies and provide support services. Established in 1984 as an informal group, they officially registered as the New Woman Studies Center in 1991.
They later re-registered as a nonprofit civil company under the name New Woman Foundation, in accordance with Law No. 84/2002. They firmly believe in the unconditional rights of women to freedom, equality, and social justice.
They advocate for women's social, political, and economic rights, reproductive rights, and the right to citizenship as integral parts of human rights.
