About NYARC
NYARC is the New York Art Resources Consortium, formed by the research libraries and archives of three acclaimed art museums in New York City: The Brooklyn Museum, The Frick Collection, and The Museum of Modern Art. Established in 2006 with funding from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, NYARC aims to provide enhanced resources to research communities through collaboration.
The consortium offers cost-efficient programs, improved access to enriched resources, and expedited resource sharing services. NYARC also focuses on advancing scholarly, educational, and cultural enrichment missions and developing cooperative relationships with leading research institutions. They offer a collaborative environment and seek to engage with other libraries, archives, and information service providers for projects that benefit the research community.
