New York Asian Arts Center is a specialist in Chinese and broader Asian antiques and artworks, serving collectors and enthusiasts through its Brooklyn showroom and online shop. Its roots trace to Two Worlds Arts, founded in the 1980s; the antiques and artworks business became a separate center in 2019. In 2022, the center opened a 5,000-square-foot showroom at 307 Kingsland Avenue in Brooklyn, with a Manhattan location available by reservation.
The collection features antique porcelain, pottery, vessels, decorative works of art, and other Asian objects, including pieces in styles such as famille rose, wucai, celadon, and Chinoiserie. Offerings are organized into significant and general collections, as well as decorative and miscellaneous works. Founder Frank Chau has worked in the antiques trade since the 1980s and brings appraisal expertise and a substantial collection of Chinese porcelain and other artworks. The center also provides antique repair and appraisal services and has offered bespoke services for interior designers. Its inventory includes objects from its own holdings and from dealers, collectors, and inheritors.
