Nybro simklubb

Nybro Simklubb is a Swedish swim-training club centered on community, enjoyment and a welcoming environment. Its aim is to help members develop their swimming in a supportive setting, with training that covers breaststroke, crawl, backstroke and butterfly. The club is intended for swimmers who are comfortable swimming 50 metres in a large pool and putting their head under water. It is not a swimming school or a replacement for beginner lessons; people seeking swimming instruction of that kind are directed to Nybro’s swimming hall.

The club does not run a regular competitive programme, although it holds two Microsim events each term. Members who want to pursue competition can receive help, while competition is not a core activity organized by the club. Nybro Simklubb also encourages young people to get involved by offering trainee positions and opportunities to progress into coaching roles. Its calendar includes club activities such as Microsim, a club championship, seasonal gatherings and swimming demonstrations.
