NYC Trivia League

NYC Trivia League is New York City's largest trivia competition, offering an exciting and competitive experience for teams who love testing their knowledge. With a season format, teams not only compete against other teams at their designated venue but also challenge every other league team across our extensive 80-bar network. The best part? It's absolutely free to play and join our league! Teams of six players are the ideal size, but if you have more members, don't worry! You can split up into two teams and go head-to-head with your friends for bragging rights and the chance to win the bar's nightly prizes.

Each trivia night consists of six rounds, each with 8-10 questions, accumulating a possible total of 50 points by the end of the evening. Rounds cover a wide range of topics, from European history to cartoons without pants, and often include a music and picture round. To ensure fair play, we have a few simple rules.

No cell phones, no cheating! Grab an answer sheet from your trivia host and keep your answers to yourself. Our trivia host has the final say. NYC Trivia League also offers bonus points to spice up the competition.

The commissioner awards points to the top 25 teams that played on each day during the week, and the top 10 teams of each day receive 5 bonus points. Additionally, weekly bonus points are available to the top 50 teams, with the top 25 receiving 10 bonus points. This means you can achieve a maximum score of 100, with 15 bonus points available.
