About Nysa
Nysa Architects is an esteemed architectural firm founded by Alexandros Spentzaris and George Chatzopoulos, dedicated to creating unique spatial experiences. Based in Athens, Greece, their expertise spans from architectural to urban scales, working on a diverse range of projects, including small residences to public buildings. In 2021, George and Alexandros established Nysa, combining their academic knowledge and extensive professional experience.
Alexandros, an alumnus of Harvard University and the National Technical University of Athens, has worked with renowned architectural firms such as RCR Arquitectes in Spain and Machado Silvetti in the United States. Likewise, George, a graduate of Harvard University and the National Technical University of Athens, with a doctoral thesis titled "Erotics of Architecture," has collaborated with firms like RCR Arquitectes, Kokkinou-Kourkoulas, and Manos Vordonarakis. Nysa Architects' notable projects include the award-winning design of a kindergarten in Chania, Crete, and the revamp of the ESEE office building in Athens.
