The New York Small Business Development Center (NY SBDC) is the leading business assistance organization in New York State. It offers expert management and technical assistance to both start-up and existing businesses statewide. Administered by the State University of New York, the NY SBDC receives funding from the U.
S. Small Business Administration, the State of New York, and host campuses. With 22 campus-based regional centers and numerous outreach offices, the NY SBDC leverages the resources of universities, the private sector, and the government to solve business challenges and foster entrepreneurship.
The center places a strong emphasis on counseling and training services for women, veterans, people with special needs, and minority clients. The NY SBDC provides entrepreneurs with full-time professional business advisors who offer expert counseling and training.
