The New York State Baseball Umpires Association (NYSBUA) supports baseball officiating across New York State. Its website provides information for members and chapters, including state officers and committees, chapter contacts and maps, bylaws, calendars, and details about uniforms and equipment suppliers. The association also shares resources to help umpires understand and apply high school baseball rules.

For the 2026 season, NYSBUA announces the NFHS Baseball Rules Exam, with Part 1 available through March 31 and Part 2 scheduled to open April 1. It also publishes a schedule of rules interpretation clinics, where officials can review new rules and points of emphasis; chapters are expected to send a representative to one clinic. The site features NFHS rule updates and guidance on topics such as equipment, pitching positions, sportsmanship, bench decorum, props, and communication devices. Additional resources include exam instructions, liability certificates, BBCOR bat information, and the Tony DeVivo Award. NYSBUA also promotes a free officials recruitment toolkit with materials intended to help recruit and retain officials.
