The New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association (NYSFAAA) is a volunteer association serving financial aid professionals across New York State. It shares information and resources intended to help students and families access educational funding, and provides opportunities for members to connect, participate in committees, and engage with regional groups and the association’s executive council. NYSFAAA supports professional learning through statewide webinars, free webinar archives, novice training, its annual conference, and links to other training options.

Topics include FAFSA and TAP applications, tax information relevant to financial aid, verification of FAFSA tax items, and filing requirements. The association also promotes advocacy, publishes statements and governing documents, and recognizes members through awards, including the George Chin Memorial Scholarship. Its website offers membership services, event information, job postings, and links to FAFSA completion and financial aid workshops provided by SUNY and the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation.
