Narrenzunft Überlingen e.V. is a carnival association dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional customs of the Alemannic cultural region, particularly Überlingen’s Fasnet. Its work is rooted in local history dating back to 1430 and aims to keep these traditions alive for future generations. The association brings together several groups and activities, including the Hänsele guild, which has around 1,400 members, and the Zimmermannsgilde, responsible for erecting the carnival tree on Schmotziger Dunschtig. Its website introduces the association’s leadership, history, carnival march, and historic Narrenbuch, first created in 1863 by the Gesellschaft Frohsinn.

For Fasnet 2026, the association provides practical information for residents and visitors, including event schedules, a guide to participating food and drink venues, and details about the Sunday procession, scheduled for February 15, 2026. It also shares the “Gelbe Heftle” preview and lists local sales points. Narrenzunft Überlingen welcomes donations to help support its events, processions, and customs, and offers guidance for requesting donation receipts.
