About NZ Sculpture OnShore
NZ Sculpture OnShore is a renowned brand in New Zealand, known for being the country's largest and oldest outdoor sculpture exhibition. Since its establishment in 1996, this biennial event has showcased the diverse work of both established and emerging artists, providing a unique glimpse into the world of contemporary three-dimensional art in New Zealand. As one of Auckland's premier art events, NZ Sculpture OnShore attracts thousands of visitors from all over the country who come to appreciate the art and the breathtaking clifftop location.
We are deeply grateful to the local Iwi and the Department of Conservation for granting us the privilege to showcase our exhibits in this culturally significant site overlooking the stunning Hauraki Gulf. Over the years, the exhibition has grown in popularity, prompting a move from its original location on the shores of Takapuna's Lake Pupuke to the O Peretu, Fort Takapuna Historic Reserve on Auckland's North Shore. This event offers a rare opportunity for the public to engage with captivating sculptures and immerse themselves in the world of art
