Oakcrest Preparatory Academy provides educationally focused childcare designed to support children’s growth across four areas: environment, education, development, and experience. Its programs serve infants through school-age children, including pre-toddlers, toddlers, preschoolers, pre-kindergarten, and transitional kindergarten. The academy combines Montessori-inspired discovery and self-guided exploration with structured learning in age-appropriate classrooms.

Learning includes language and literacy, early phonics, sign language, Spanish, kindergarten readiness, and STEAM subjects. Children also take part in enrichment programs, character education, physical education, and activities that encourage problem-solving, communication, self-help skills, social interaction, teamwork, leadership, and confidence. A chef-led kitchen and focus on nutrition, health, and safety support children’s daily wellbeing. Oakcrest emphasizes compassionate, trained educators and connections with families and the community.

The academy operates locations in Pineville and Charlotte, North Carolina, and Fort Mill and Tega Cay, South Carolina. A Lakewood Ranch, Florida, location is scheduled to open in fall 2026. Current locations are open Monday through Friday, with Saturday tours available by appointment.
