Oakheart NW

Oakheart (NW) Ltd is a funeral services provider offering a compassionate, straightforward approach to supporting families after a bereavement. Trading as Oakheart Direct Cremation, the company currently serves the North West of England and provides an unattended, fixed-price cremation for £1,295. The service includes careful collection within the agreed local area during office hours, secure care and identification, an individual cremation, the return of ashes, and clear updates throughout the process. Oakheart explains each step calmly and without pressure or upselling, and offers guidance without obligation to help families decide whether direct cremation is right for them.

The service does not include attendance at the cremation, a funeral service, chapel time, procession vehicles, flowers, or ceremonial items. Families may choose to hold a private memorial or gathering later, in a way that feels meaningful to them. Ashes are usually returned within around two to four weeks, with collection or delivery arrangements discussed with the family. Timings can vary depending on paperwork, availability, or Coroner involvement.
