Oak Hill Farm is a 100% nonprofit organization in Roanoke, Indiana, dedicated to equine therapy for children and adults. As a PATH International-certified center, it offers individualized, one-on-one therapeutic riding and horse-care experiences designed around each student’s needs. Lessons use natural body balance riding techniques and focus on building confidence, self-esteem, body strength, and practical life skills.
Oak Hill Farm develops tailored plans in collaboration with parents, teachers, guardians, therapists, and other professionals involved in a student’s care. Its experienced instructors specialize in equine behavior and natural body riding applications, and the organization pursues continuing education to respond to evolving needs in the field. The farm also welcomes families, volunteers, instructors, and donors, aiming to create a supportive, family-like environment for everyone involved.
Prospective participants can begin with a phone or in-person interview to discuss the program. Donations and in-kind contributions help keep one-on-one lessons affordable and support students’ community participation and future workforce involvement
