Oakhurst Farm

Oakhurst Farm is an equestrian eventing facility in Eastern Ontario, Canada, with a family atmosphere and a team-focused approach. Established in 1994, the farm has supported riders who represent it at regional, provincial, and international levels. It is owned by Ruth Allum, an EC Certified Competition Development HP1 and eventing coach, and Mark Nelson, a former Canadian equestrian long-listed for competition.

The farm offers horse boarding and riding lessons for competitors in eventing and dressage, two Olympic equestrian sports. Its cross-country courses range from Pre-Entry to Preliminary/Intermediate level, and Oakhurst hosts competitions on site, from schooling events through FEI level. Students also travel with the farm to compete across North America.

Beyond riding and competition, Oakhurst provides coach education and is committed to growing eventing and developing strong equestrian coaches in Canada. Riders, boarders, competitors, coach candidates, and volunteers interested in joining the community are welcome to connect with the farm.
