Oakland Day School is a preschool and a ministry of Oakland Baptist Church, serving children and families since 1980. Located on Oakland Avenue in Rock Hill, South Carolina, the school focuses on giving young learners a strong educational foundation and preparing them for kindergarten. Its approach combines a fun, nurturing environment with opportunities for children to learn and grow at the beginning of their educational journey.

Learning includes both child-initiated and teacher-directed activities, with hands-on play and active experiences designed to engage growing minds. Oakland Day School also emphasizes creating safe spaces where students can develop within an environment shaped by God’s love and grace. The school’s philosophy centers on supporting children’s foundations for learning and loving, while its educational purpose is to build kindergarten readiness through meaningful participation and exploration.

Oakland Day School provides enrollment information and a school calendar for the 2026–2027 year, with enrollment currently open for that school year. Families can contact the school directly for details about its program and enrollment.
