About Oaks Rugby
Danville Oaks Rugby Football Club is a youth rugby organization serving families in Danville, San Ramon, and the wider East Bay. The club offers programs for players from under-8 through high school, with boys’, girls’, and co-ed teams. Its focus is on teaching rugby techniques and strategy while building a fun, competitive foundation for players’ development. Good sportsmanship and fair play are central to the program, which welcomes participants regardless of size, body shape, or ability.
Oaks teams take part in several seasonal programs: youth 15s from December to March, high school 15s from January to May, and summer 7s from June to July. The club also runs free, non-contact preseason fall clinics for multiple age groups. Practices and activities take place at local parks, including the club’s home field at Diablo Vista Park, on the Danville–San Ramon border. A member of Rugby NorCal and USA Youth & High School Rugby, Danville Oaks Rugby Football Club provides registration, team schedules, volunteer opportunities, and club merchandise through its website.
