OAR Filiala Bucuresti

OAR București is the Bucharest branch of the Order of Architects of Romania, a professional organization dedicated to supporting architects and strengthening the quality and responsible practice of architecture in the capital. Its work is guided by three priorities: the profession, Bucharest, and community. The branch offers members practical support and professional development through continuing education, courses, webinars, legal and tax advice, and resources on regulations, technical standards, authorship, insurance, and architectural practice. It also supports trainees, promotes professional opportunities through the ArhiJob platform, and encourages dialogue on fees, business skills, and the management of architecture firms.

For the city, OAR București engages with public authorities on planning, permitting, and approval procedures, and contributes professional perspectives on urban and architectural issues. Its initiatives include design competitions, the Bucharest Architecture Annual, heritage and public-space projects, and activities promoting the city’s architectural quality. The branch also fosters its professional community through events, cultural projects, a library, and member-focused programs, while building partnerships with institutions, administrations, and civic groups.
