Oarsman Fly Fishing offers guided wilderness fishing adventures in Lapland, Finland, led by Henri Kiviniemi. Its trips focus on remote rivers and waters around the Sámi Sea, combining fly fishing with time spent travelling and camping in the Arctic landscape.
The signature experience is a multi-day float down the Ivalojoki, described as a roadless river supporting native migratory trout that run upstream from Lake Inari. Guests fish sections of the river that are difficult to reach on foot and stay at wild riverside camps. Float trips are offered in four- or five-day formats, with scheduled dates from late June through August 2027.
Oarsman also runs Arctic sea trout camps, with group and private-trip options, and private cataraft-based fly fishing for predatory brown trout on the Sámi Sea. The Ferox trips are designed for one or two anglers and are available from September to mid-October. Across its offerings, the brand emphasizes remote access, moving water, and the distinctive fish and scenery of northern Lapland.
