About Oasis
Oasis, a haven for women and children, began its humble journey in 1997 in a church hall in Paterson. Originally, their mission was to provide hot meals to women with children, but over time, Oasis has grown and evolved. In 2008, they constructed a three-story building at 59 Mill Street, expanding their reach and services.
Today, Oasis focuses on two main areas: education and training for women to enter the workforce, and after-school programs that help children and teens excel academically, pursue higher education, and pave their way towards successful careers. Women and children in need can still rely on Oasis for hot meals, emergency food bags, clothing, and the support of three dedicated on-site social workers. At Oasis, they proudly offer a comprehensive range of anti-poverty services all in one location, making them the sole organization in the area to provide such a vital mix of support.
If you're looking to make a difference, consider reaching out to Oasis – your contribution to their cause is tax-deductible and helps create a brighter future for vulnerable individuals and families
