Ornamental Aquatics Wholesale (OAW) is a UK trade-only aquatics wholesaler supplying retailers, not the public. Established in 2020 by Matt and Max, the business has grown through mergers and acquisitions and draws on operations dating back to 1965. Its aim is to give busy shops one destination for a broad range of aquatic stock, foods and related products.

OAW supplies tropical, temperate, coldwater, marine and pond fish, which are quarantined before dispatch. Its food ranges include home-grown live foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworm, tubifex, mysis, copepods and blackworm, alongside frozen and dry fish foods. The company also offers live and frozen foods for reptiles and amphibians, as well as bunched aquatic plants sourced from growers in Indonesia. Import consolidation helps retailers bring stock together through one supplier.

Customers can apply for a trade account to access price lists, stock information, order forms and the trade dashboard. OAW also provides information on availability and deliveries, bringing livestock, foods, plants and import services together for the UK aquarium trade.
