About Oberin
Oberin is a free-to-play fantasy MMORPG for Mac and Windows, built around a persistent online world that has been active for more than two decades. Originally released for Macintosh, the game invites players to explore a world shaped by community activity, ongoing stories, and player actions. There are no microtransactions; progression and discovery are central to the experience.
Players can choose from six classes: Cleric, Druid, Wizard, Fighter, Ranger, and Rogue, each offering distinct abilities and play styles. Combat, exploration, magic, quests, and cooperation all feature in the game. Players can join guilds, form parties, hunt creatures, seek treasure, gather resources, and craft useful items. The world includes towns such as Mirith, Andris, Marali, and Lerilin, alongside dungeons, forests, mountains, islands, and hidden locations.
