Obermühle Beine is a family-run rural hospitality and agricultural business in Dringenberg, part of Bad Driburg in Germany’s Höxter district. Set in the Öse Valley among woodlands, meadows, and fields, the farm has been owned by the Beine family since 1874. After its mill ceased operating in 1961, the property developed a guesthouse business. In 1980, the family shifted away from dairy farming and began trout breeding, fishing ponds, and direct sales of agricultural products. Stefanie Beine has led the business since 2017.
Today, Obermühle Beine combines accommodation, fishing, and farm-based food sales. Guests can stay in a pension or choose from holiday apartments, including Kleine Auszeit, Landliebe, and Haus am See. The site’s fishing ponds offer another way to enjoy the countryside, while its trout farm and direct marketing provide locally produced fish and agricultural goods. The business aims to offer visitors, anglers, and customers a welcoming rural setting and a refreshing change from everyday life.
