Obesity Day

Obesity Day is an Italian public health initiative and registered trademark of Fondazione ADI. It focuses on raising awareness of obesity and supporting efforts to prevent non-communicable diseases through information, education and connections with local clinical services. The initiative coordinates participating Obesity Day centres across Italy, helping visitors find a nearby centre and inviting healthcare facilities to join its network.

Its website provides educational resources for the public and professionals, including a transcultural food pyramid for adults and a multilingual guide to healthy eating across different cultures. The materials promote the message “Your culture. Your cuisine. Your health.” Visitors can also complete an online questionnaire and access information about current and previous editions of Obesity Day, including presentations, press releases, newsletters and photo galleries.

Obesity Day shares news and activities from participating centres, lists its partners and offers a press area and resource library. Through these services, it brings together educational content, local centre information and annual initiatives to encourage informed conversations about nutrition, obesity and health.
