Oblation Papers

Oblation Papers & Press is a family-owned stationery boutique and letterpress print shop based in Portland, Oregon. Its roots date to 1989, when founders Jennifer and Ron Rich began selling handmade paper goods at the Eugene Saturday Market. The shop opened in Portland’s Pearl District in 1998 and continues to make paper and print cards in its studio, alongside a carefully curated selection from other makers.

Customers can shop fountain pens, inks, notebooks, writing tools, handmade papers, journals, and greeting cards, with brands including Kaweco, Hobonichi, and Traveler’s Company. Products are available in-store and online. Oblation also provides custom letterpress printing for wedding invitations, business stationery, and personal correspondence, guiding clients from initial concepts through finished pieces. Its hand-pressed work gives printed designs a distinctive impression in the paper.

The shop hosts events such as workshops, meet-ups, and fountain pen gatherings, and offers gift cards and wholesale inquiries. With a focus on thoughtfully made paper goods and writing supplies, Oblation brings together traditional craft and everyday stationery for enthusiasts and gift seekers alike.
