The Hauts-de-France Energy and Climate Observatory is a regional information and analysis initiative focused on energy, climate and the ecological transition. Supported by the State, the Hauts-de-France Region, ADEME and the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais, it is carried by the Centre resource du développement durable (Cerdd). The Observatory helps local authorities and other audiences understand regional challenges and make informed decisions through accessible data, publications and events.
Its resources cover topics including greenhouse gas emissions, transport, renewable energy, district heating networks and climate change. Articles and reports examine local trends, identify potential responses and explain national energy policy. The Observatory also organises webinars and shares information about regional transition events.
Through TrACE Hauts-de-France, a data visualisation platform operated with Atmo Hauts-de-France, users can consult and export Air-Climate-Energy indicators, compare territories and regional objectives, and simulate the potential impact of actions. Visitors can also subscribe to the Cerdd newsletter for selected updates on transitions in the region.
