About Observatorio CLH
Observatorio CLH is a brand focused on documenting and raising awareness about Crimes Against Humanity in Venezuela. Established in 2019, it is a collaborative project between Defiende Venezuela and Un Mundo Sin Mordaza. Their main mission is to monitor, document, and report events constituting Crimes Against Humanity that have occurred in Venezuela since 2014 to the International Criminal Court's Office of the Prosecutor.
Their vision is to expose the pattern of repression by the Venezuelan government forces and contribute to the advancement of the Prosecutor's investigation into the situation in Venezuela. They aim to ensure the prosecution of the highest responsible individuals for atrocious crimes, leading to truth, justice, reparations, and guarantees of non-repetition for the victims and their families. Observatorio CLH has successfully presented information on 40 events constituting Crimes Against Humanity and organized three parallel events during the Assembly of States Parties of the International Criminal Court.
They have also conducted conversatories and virtual courses on International Criminal Law and provided valuable information on ongoing investigations into the situation in Venezuela.
