About OVV
OVV (Observatorio Venezolano de Violencia) is a non-governmental organization established in 2005 to monitor the phenomenon of violence and insecurity in Venezuela and the perception of its citizens. They aim to provide accurate information and analysis regarding violence in the country. OVV offers various projects and services to fulfill their mission.
They have regional observatories that focus on specific areas of Venezuela, such as Amazonas, Aragua, Bolívar, Carabobo, Falcón, Guárico, Lara, Mérida, Monagas, Nueva Esparta, Región Capital, Sucre, Táchira, Trujillo, and Zulia. These observatories produce reports, including annual reports on violence, youth, and violence against children in Venezuela. OVV also provides interactive maps and indicators of violence.
They share news, opinions, publications, books, articles, and investigative reports to increase awareness and understanding of the issue. With their efforts, OVV aims to contribute to the reduction of violence in Venezuela
