Fundacja Obywatele Zdrowo Zaangażowani is a Polish nonprofit founded by young researchers from the Medical University of Warsaw. It works to improve health education, encourage people to take shared responsibility for their wellbeing, and strengthen the patient’s position in the healthcare system. The foundation develops educational campaigns, research initiatives, publications, events and partnerships that help people make informed health decisions.

Its projects promote responsible self-medication and self-care, using reliable information and encouraging patients to follow healthcare professionals’ advice. Through “Przewietrz apteczkę!” it helps older adults organise home medicine cabinets, understand safe medicine storage and discuss the risks of taking multiple medicines. “Pacjent 3.0” supports access to mobile health services and assists health-focused technology start-ups through advice, app testing, expert analysis and training. The foundation also runs a competition for students’ and young graduates’ research on self-care and self-management, and shares information about preventive screenings and cardiovascular health. It welcomes volunteers, ambassadors, experts and partner organisations to support its educational and community-focused work.
