About OC Aging Service Collaborative
The Orange County Aging Services Collaborative (OCASC) brings together nonprofit and government providers to coordinate support for older adults across Orange County. Its goal is to help improve the aging experience by connecting community organizations, sharing information, and addressing needs through collaborative initiatives. The organization focuses on four areas: housing, elder abuse prevention, food security and nutrition, and healthcare. Its housing work examines gaps between older adults’ needs and available homes, while its prevention and food initiatives promote awareness of abuse-prevention resources and food programs. The healthcare committee takes a whole-health approach, addressing physical, social, emotional, and mental well-being.
OCASC also shares research and practical resources, including annual reports on aging in Orange County and an Age-Friendly planning toolkit. Its events include an Older Adults Resource Fair, where older adults, caregivers, and families can connect with local organizations and learn about available programs and services. Membership information, policy resources, reports, and event details are available through its website.
