About O Cantinho Da Milu
O Cantinho da Milu is a nonprofit animal welfare association dedicated to transforming abandonment into the possibility of a loving home. Its shelter currently cares for 622 animals, and the organization has helped save 12,219 lives over 15 years. It facilitates around 68 adoptions per month, connecting prospective adopters with dogs and other animals seeking families.
The association shares animal profiles and adoption stories to help people find a companion suited to their household and lifestyle. Its adoption process includes reviewing the animal’s profile and adoption rules, submitting an application, and, if approved, visiting the shelter with all members of the household to complete the process. The organization also highlights urgent cases and encourages support through sponsorship, donations, and partnerships.
Individuals can contribute by donating via MB WAY, bank transfer, or PayPal, with suggested amounts starting at €5. Through care at the shelter, adoption support, and community contributions, O Cantinho da Milu works to give animals in need a safer and happier future.
