OCC Therapy

OCC Therapy is a paediatric allied health provider offering occupational therapy and speech pathology exclusively for children. Serving families in Brisbane and beyond, the organisation provides in-clinic, mobile and online services, tailoring support to each child’s needs and the settings where they live, learn and play. Therapists may work with children at home, in the classroom or on the playground to help them participate more confidently in everyday life.

Occupational therapy supports development in areas such as motor and play skills, coordination, self-care, learning, attention, writing, organisation and social participation. Speech pathology helps children build communication skills, including understanding language, using words and sentences, and producing speech sounds. OCC Therapy works with toddlers, school-aged children, children in out-of-home care, and children with complex needs or diagnoses such as autism, ADHD or DCD.

The team also supports parents and carers, collaborates with schools and teachers, and works alongside other health professionals. Telehealth sessions use Microsoft Teams, with parental coaching also available online.
