Ocean Sole is a brand that is dedicated to tackling the issue of marine pollution by transforming discarded flip-flops into art and functional products. Through their innovative approach, they not only raise visual awareness about the problem at hand but also provide steady income to low-income Kenyans. By upcycling washed up flip-flops found along the beaches and waterways in Kenya, their social enterprise positively impacts over a thousand Kenyans through flip-flop collection and direct employment.

Ocean Sole aims to recycle a million flip-flops each year, recycle over one tonne of styrofoam a month, and save over five hundred trees annually by using flip-flops instead of wood. Additionally, they contribute a significant portion of their revenue to beach cleanups, vocational and educational programs, and conservation efforts.
