About Ocean Startup Project • Projet Startup Des Océans
Ocean Startup Project is a brand dedicated to creating and nurturing ocean technology companies in Canada. They aim to kickstart and support new, high-quality startups in the ocean industry, while also encouraging existing startups to explore ocean applications for their technologies. The project offers a range of services and activities, from ideation to commercialization, that complement existing industry accelerators and support organizations.
Their approach involves inspiring ocean entrepreneurship, providing resources and mentorship to initiate new companies, and connecting these companies to programs and funds that can fuel their growth. Ocean Startup Project is made possible through collaborations with Canada's Ocean SuperCluster, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and various partners. They have a diverse team of executives and program coordinators who are actively involved in directing project activities.
The project is open to participants from all over Canada and even from around the world, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility
